There is plenty to explore here, with fantastic walks right from the front door step with the ancient Forest of Pengelli and Castell Henllys  nearby that  is entwined with footpaths and trails.  The Public footpath markers take walkers along various trails.  The 186 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Trail is waiting to be explored.  The path includes all kinds of different landscapes, from its castellated cliffs to its sheltered bays, open beaches and estuaries.  The Preseli Hills, home to the enormous Bluestones used in the construction of Stonehenge, also beckon to be explored.  Cyclists, fishermen and golfers are well catered for in the local vicinity and shoppers, art lovers and food lovers won’t be disappointed either.

Nearby, the village of Nevern is famous for its ancient castle, the 'bleeding yew', and Celtic Cross in the Churchyard. The vibrant market town of Newport is a five-minute drive, with plenty of excellent pubs, restaurants and cafes, antique shop and galleries. Newport boasts a Norman castle and church that stands proudly above its ancient streets. In the other direction, the market town of Cardigan is a 15-minute drive along the coast, the narrow streets, traditional shops, inns and eating places many of them with their original Georgian and Victorian fronts help create a unique visitor experience. Pembrokeshire is surrounded by mind blowing scenery, gorgeous remote beaches and bays and so many towns, villages and tourist attractions to fill your stay however adventurous you feel. Have a look and try some of our recommended spots and locations... you wont be disappointed!

Nearby attractions include Pentre Ifan burial chamber, the most famous of all Wales’ Neolithic structures. Also,  an  enjoyable day out can be had at Castell Henllys, a reconstructed Iron Age hill fort, complete with roundhouses, built in exactly the same place as the Iron Age buildings as identified by archaeological excavations.  Re-enactments throughout the summer bring the settlement to life.
